Hands-on OpenBIM support

Clear IFC delivery

Fewer risks. Usable IFC models. No last-minute surprises.

DELIVERY OWNERS

Who this is for

This support is for people accountable for delivery.I work with project managers, BIM managers, technical leads, and decision makers who rely on IFC and open standards for real project delivery. If your role involves approving, coordinating, or handing over IFC models and requirements, this helps reduce risk and avoid late surprises. You do not need to be an IFC expert.
You do need to be accountable for results.

WHY THIS EXISTS

OpenBIM fails at delivery

OpenBIM problems usually come from a gap between expectations and reality.IFC models are delivered, but the information does not match expectations, or it is structured differently than assumed. This gap only becomes visible late in the project, creating rework, friction between teams, and uncertainty around delivery readiness.

WHAT THIS IS NOT

Not theory or generic advice

This is not training material, demos, or best practice slides.
The work happens inside real IFC files, real projects, and real delivery constraints.
The focus is practical decisions that hold up under pressure and improve delivery outcomes.

DELIVERY REVIEW

IFC and delivery workflow review

I review how IFC is produced, checked, and delivered on the project. The focus is on real creation, exchange, checking, and handover workflows, not documentation for its own sake. The goal is to identify gaps between what is expected and what is actually being delivered.

REQUIREMENTS

BEP or EIR to IDS Conversion

I help turn written requirements into clear, usable IFC expectations. This includes translating BEP or EIR content into concrete, checkable rules using Information Delivery Specification (IDS), so teams know exactly what information must be present in IFC models. No interpretation. No guessing. Just clear requirements tied to delivery.

PROJECT CONTROL

Clear delivery decisions

You get a shared understanding of delivery readiness across the project team and stakeholders. What is acceptable. What is missing. What needs action now. This reduces friction, rework, and last-minute escalation.

BEFORE DELIVERY

Check IFC models before handover

I review IFC models before delivery or handover to identify issues early, while they are still cheap to fix. This includes geometry, property sets, classifications, quantities, relationships, georeferencing, and overall information quality. The goal is to catch delivery problems before they turn into rework or delays.

INFORMATION QUALITY

Fix and clean IFC data

When needed, I fix IFC models directly instead of only reporting issues. This includes adding missing information, removing incorrect or unnecessary metadata, correcting classifications, fixing relationships, and resolving georeferencing problems. The result is IFC models that are usable, consistent, and ready for delivery.

REAL PROJECT FILES

Work with real IFC data

All work happens inside real project IFC files, not screenshots, examples, or demo models.Issues are reviewed in context, with clear explanations of what matters and why it affects delivery.Fixes are practical and immediately usable by the team.

TEAM ENABLEMENT

CUSTOM TEAM TRAINING

I offer custom tailored OpenBIM training for teams and organizations.Training is adapted to your project context, delivery requirements, and team level. This can include working with IFC, IDS, and Bonsai BIM, with a focus on practical use in real projects, not generic theory.

Free openBIM community

BIMvoice Academy

BIMvoice Academy is my free learning community for BIM professionals. It includes shared resources, discussions, live sessions, and the 7 Day OpenBIM Challenge. It is a place to learn, ask questions, and stay connected to practical OpenBIM topics.

EXPERIENCE

What others say

I have been training BIM professionals and teams for many years across different projects and organizations. You can read feedback and testimonials from people who joined the training, workshops, and support sessions.
